I am a Canada Research Chair in Health Economics and a Professor at the School of Health Administration, with cross-appointments in the Departments of Economics and Community Health and Epidemiology at Dalhousie University. I received my PhD in Economics from the University of Queensland and have held postdoctoral positions at Western and McGill universities. I lead the Health Equity & Policy (HEAP) Lab at Dalhousie, focusing on producing research that informs policy to improve equity in health and healthcare.
